We're thrilled to share our newest platform module, Abode Events! Events are such an important piece to a keep warm, recruiting, or program strategy - so we're excited to share new functionality that'll allow you to fully manage your events within the Abode platform.
Abode Events is an additional module that you can add to the core platform package which will allow you to plan, schedule, track, and manage events for users in your Abode programs and cohorts. The platform will collect RSVPs, track attendees, gather feedback post-event, and connect analytics back to your user's Abode profile. We have also added calendar sync functionality that will allow both admins and end users to sync their Abode Events calendar with Outlook, Google, and Apple.

- Create event calendars for your different programs and cohorts, and assign them to your candidates from the Dashboard:
- Add multiple calendars to the Events tab to manage and assign different events to your existing programs and cohort set up in Abode
- Workplace calendars can be shared and edited by all admin users in the Abode workspace
- Add events to one or multiple calendars, and see them populate on the Events feed in the center of the module
Manage all of your events and event details from the Dashboard:
- Add or update event details, including title, time, date, hosts, description easily from the Events Dashboard
- Need to add a different event host? Choose between existing Abode users or add an email address to allow non-users to host events
- Choose between in-person or virtual event details - all virutal event hosting is done through your web conferencing platform! Add in links for Zoom, WebEx, or Teams
- Have a capacity for the event? Add a capacity limit and let the platform gather RSVPs up until it reaches maximum capacity. We'll let your users know when the event is full or running low on spots!
Track RSVPs and gather post-event feedback from your users:
- Once you assign the calendar to your programs and cohorts, your users will be able to RSVP via Abode
- The platform will gather Going vs. Not Going, and send a quick feedback survey to anyone who replied "Going" after the event concludes
- RSVPs and Feedback will be displayed in the "Guests" tab of the events module, in addition to being logged in the user's profile and activity feed
- Send email reminders to attendees by selecting the users from the list and selecting Send Email
Sync calendars with your work or personal calendar so you never miss an event:
- We've enabled calendar sync for Google, Outlook, and Apple Calendars or you copy/share the link to subscribe to any of the calendars you've created
- Calendars update in real time with event details, and don't send annoying calendar invite updates
- Both admins and end users are able to sync with their calendar, and we highly recommend subscribing to ensure your users get event reminders
- Mandatory events automatically populate on the calendar, while other events will only populate if the user RSVPs in Abode
